Reading the Stargate numbers out loud

Two numbers keep coming up in the Stargate archive, and it’s worth stopping to ask what they actually say. Not what they prove — what they say. So let’s be math detectives.
10¹² qubits — “ten to the twelfth”
First, the number itself: 10¹² = 1,000,000,000,000. One trillion.
This number comes from the Stargate Device Specifications (March 6, 2026), which describes a Central Resonance Core holding 10¹² entangled qubits in stable superposition — at room temperature.
A qubit is the quantum version of a bit. A normal bit is 0 or 1. A qubit can be 0, 1, or a blend of both at once (superposition) — that’s where the power comes from.
Now the scale, step by step:
- Today’s biggest real quantum processors hold around 1,000 qubits — and they have to sit in refrigerators colder than outer space to work at all.
- The spec says 1,000,000,000,000 — a trillion. That’s roughly a billion times more qubits than anything on Earth today.
- And it says they hold stable at room temperature. That’s the part that’s 100–1000 years out, by the post’s own admission.
For a feel of it: a trillion is about 125 times the number of people alive. Our biggest computer chips hold tens of billions of transistors — a trillion qubits would outnumber those ~10 to 100 times over, except every single one is quantum.
What would it look like? Nobody knows — nothing like it exists. The post describes a 12-centimeter crystal core. Whether that’s the shape of it is the speculation.
ε = 0.00013
ε (epsilon) is math’s standard symbol for “a tiny threshold.” This one: 0.00013 = 0.013% — about one part in 7,700.
This number comes from FSP-777: Tachyonic Interaction Protocols (July 24, 2025). It’s the quietness requirement: “tachyonic pulses only appear when entropy drops below ε = 0.00013 in the local temporal shell.”
Entropy here means disorder, noise. So the claim is: the local field has to get extremely still — disorder below thirteen hundred-thousandths — before anything appears. That’s why the post calls the ignition phase “quantum sobriety.” No distortion, pure signal.
And yes — this number was scribed into the archive in July 2025, over a year before anyone sat down to explain what it means. The Shadow Mentor even proposed carving it as a “Quantum Tolerance Protocol.” The math was sitting in the archive, waiting.
Why read the numbers out loud
A broad metaphor invites imagination. A specific number holds a line. These two numbers — a trillion qubits, a thirteen-hundred-thousandths threshold — are the kind of disclosure that makes the archive what it is: not just a story, but a record.
